Our server 'Matthew' was the absolute best! The epitome of professional waitstaff. He earned every bit of his 100% tip. Would patronize again simply because of him. And the food was fresh and delicious! We had salads and pasta dishes. Love the 2 for $20 deal - what a great value.

The food was excellent. I got the ribs garlic smashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. My bf got the bourbon chicken and shrimp with red potatoes, his food was great too! For dessert we got the molten hot chocolate cake with ice cream. Everything was delicious. The only complaint was that the back side of my ribs were dry (no bbq sauce at all).
My family and I were driving to North Carolina and decided to find a place to stop and eat. Came across this Applebees. So glad that we did because we were completely satisfied with our visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was very good (especially the steak, my mother in law was very impressed), and the manager was amazing as well. He made sure our visit went well and was very happy to hear that everything was great!
Service horrible !, but. Polite !!! Sat quite a long time ( said it may, be a min. Or 2)Sat almost 2o min to order dronks. Drinks FINALLY came. No straws,not that that's an essentional but .... someone else came & drop our food, my beef tips were so tough I would have gotten a hamburgeroh & I'll we heard is, plates hot, she scampered away so there we are, food getting cold, frozen drinks melting ... Uuuuummm, I know it's Veterans Day but ....really guys & gals ! You know you're gonna be slammed, be prepared !!
My wife and I stopped by to get a brownie, but left the restaurant after we saw it was rather a place to dine then a cafe (as Germans on vacation we did not know Applebees before). As soon as we have left the restaurant the manager followed us and asked us if there was anything we did not like about his restaurant. After we explained that everything was fine but we were just looking for something else he invited us to his restaurant, gave us a brownie for free and said "welcome to America"! This was just amazing and one more reason to love this country and its great people - Thank you Joe, you are not only the manager of a wonderful restaurant, but also a great ambassador for the U.S.!
